I don’t know what you’re doing this week, but I’m going to be blog hopping and participating in the 5th Annual MommyFest blog party. And be sure to check out the great daily contests! I have donated a two-week advertising spot on my blog, HerBigIdea.com. I will also mention your website or blog on my Internet Radio show on BlogTalkRadio!
Plus, anyone who enters a comment on my blog from May 11-16 will be entered in a contest to win a free week of advertising on HerBigIdea.com. Your 125×125 ad will show up on my right side bar. The contest winner will be announced on Monday, May 19th! Good Luck!!!
According to Marie Ynami, organizer “The whole point of throwing this blog party is so that we get to meet other moms in cyberspace and make a connection.”
Every participating mom blogger will get a chance to introduce themselves and share what they are about. Plus, they’re encouraging creativity. Share what you want. You can even post pictures, audio and even video clips.
So here’s my introduction: I’m Elaine and I blog on HerBigIdea.com, I have a podcast/Internet Radio Show on BlogTalkRadio and I’m a contributor on PoshMama.com.
I created HerBigIdea to inspire readers and listeners to create their own business or improve on an existing business by learning from other female entrepreneurs and mompreneurs. Great products will be featured to make your life easier or just more chic!
I am a former marketing exec. and elementary school teacher. I have a 16 month old son and another little boy due in mid July!
A few interesting facts about me…
- My husband and I met while working at Disneyland.
- My husband left on a 7.5 month deployment five days after our son was born.
- I love to play poker!

MommyFest has been so much fun. Met at Disneyland huh? How fun. I’m such a kid at heart. I love Disneyland. I live in Santa Barbara, so Disneyland in Anaheim has been visited many times. I’ve not been to Disney in Florida in many years and would love to revisit Epcot.
